The REAL Sarah Palin on SNL
Sarah Palin’s appearance on Saturday Night Live has been the talk of the weekend. She didn’t say much, but the skits were hilarious. The Weekend News Update was the highlight of the night. When the moose came out, I just about lost it. Poor moose.
For my hip-hop audience: Did the beat in the background sound familiar? It was altered some, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. I’ll give $10 in Monopoly money to the first person who guesses it!

I don’t know where the beat came for the Palin rap came from during the Weekend News Update, but I didn’t get the reason for her appearance on the show. I guess it was supposed to show that she’s the bigger person – but they still ripped on her, especially during the Weekend News Update seen. I actually felt bad for her – and I am not a fan.
I’m not sure why she was there either. I wonder if she knew beforehand what they were going to do. All I think it did was give SNL the highest rating it’s received in years.
