Not cool. While I may not be a fan of the Palin/McCain ticket, this is taking it a little too far. The police are not calling it a hate crime because it was part of a Halloween display. In my opinion, they need to take it down because it could potentially cause other problems. If the police allow it ‘in the name of Halloween’, I expect others to pop up around the country. All you’re doing is giving people an excuse to act crazy.

  2. I’m tired of all the negativity and sideways insinuations coming from both sides of this election. The emails about people’s kids, photoshopping heads onto bikini-clad bodies, false terrorist ties, pundits spinning statements into alleged Marxian rhetoric… Is this what we have to look forward to for the next 4 years. The status quo can’t deal with the fact that they may no longer be the status quo and they lash out with their brand new version of Thinly Veiled Racism 2.0. The long, lost class of “never-beens” finally has a voice and now is acting like the ones they always opposed. I know we don’t live in a utopia but I thought there was a value placed in acting with character no matter if you were winning, losing, or watching from the sideline. It’s sickening how far people will go to boost their own egos by insulting someone else.

  4. The problem is that everyone has instant access to publicity. Anyone can generate or do something stupid and get it out there for the world to see. We have easier access to idiots these days. It’s sad but we’re also exposed to great minds such as those on this blog. I know I’ve been enlightened.
