At the end of the day, it's a battle and nothing personal. Hillary is too much of a polarizing figure and would've caused much more damage than support as a VP. Gaining her supporters would've totally pushed away a large segment of "fence folk". Obama is in between a Clinton and a hard place. I hate that there has to be such sour grapes.
