My condolences to the King family. Thanks to the folk listed here for giving me the idea of saving the funeral programs that I have been keeping so that I can read them to my grandchildren and share the African-American legacy--to be passed down to the generations to come. We have paid such a bloody price to be citizens here in this great country, which economy was built on the backs of and with the blood of our people. Her death came so close to the death of Jerry Falwell ... it made me think that Heaven was trying to balance the books in some manner. Heaven needed a positive shining light (King) to balance the books for the negative sloth of Falwell.
