Excellent topic! Blackmen are so adversely impacted by the civil and criminal justice system. Child care support, drugs, and so much more. The concept of DWB (driving while Black) is real in many communities. I live in Cincinnati … a town that has been virtually at war when it comes to relations between the police and Black people. Anyhow…I just wanted to applaud your focus on this topic.

Villager & Vanessa: Thanks, I appreciate the comments. I’ve been wanting to hit on this topic because it’s something that’s bothered me over the years (especially when it comes to the younger kids). I know people who’ve been caught up in “the system” for years and have yet to be rehabilitated. The more people are aware of what’s going on, the more we can rally to change the system.
