Bears and Colts in Superbowl XLI
As I sat there watching the ending of the Colts game, nervous and on the end of my seat, I was excited to see the final outcome as we approach Superbowl XLI. For the first time in football history, two black coaches and their teams will battle it out to see which one is the best in the world.
This is a big deal to me because I like to see African-Americans doing big things. Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith together again fighting to win it all. It really doesn’t get better than this. So to both coaches and their teams congratulations and I wish you the best in Superbowl XLI.

What Kind of Superhero Are You?
I heard about this site on the Geek News Central podcast and thought I would give it a try . I’m not sure why Supergirl is 45%, but the overall outcome is not so bad. And it is pretty accurate. If you have a little time, take the quiz and let me know who you are.
My results:
You are Superman

You are mild-mannered, good, strong and you love to help others. ![]() |

What I’m Working on for 2007
At the beginning of each year, I do something new that I haven’t done before. One year, I learned chess. Another I started my own business. Last year I learned a new programming language. Now that may not seem like anything life changing, but were things that I enjoyed.
This year, the plan is to start over and reorganize my life. I’ve started throwing out things and paperwork that I don’t need and I’m ridding myself of the clutter. As I was cleaning, I found a really good article in the January 2007 issue of Black Enterprise titled “The Rules of Reinvention”. The article discusses six rules you need to enforce to cause . The process isn’t an easy one, but it’s possible. I agree with them and thought I’d share the points with you. I’ll add a little commentary where I see fit.
Rule #1 – Understand who you are and where you are
Rule #2 – Explore your gifts and talents
We’ve all been giving something. Take the time to learn what it is and go for it.
Rule #3 – Fight past the fear.
This is my biggest issue. My wife and I pray for guidance on a daily basis. All I have to do is believe that God will give it to us. This is definitely a daily process.
Rule #4 – Take one step at a time
Rule #5 – Create a support team.
Super important. Get the family on board. Don’t be afraid to tell others of your dream.
Rule #6 – Allow the transformation to take time.
The article goes into more detail, but I can’t tell you everything because I want you to read it for yourself. If you are not a subscriber to Black Enterprise, sign up. It’s a great magazine that has benefited me a lot in the past.
If you have any comments, feel free to leave them under this post or leave a message on my voicemail line @ 972-464-1899.

Podcast Name Change
Happy New Year everyone!!!
I guess as you can see, the name of the podcast has changed. I thought it was best to re-brand now while the show is still in it’s infant stages. I do have a show for tomorrow, so be sure to return and listen to it.
I pray that everyone has a blessed New Year and thank you for being a subscriber of the podcast. Leave a message on my voicemail.
